Meet The Team

Dr. Catherine Pike, DDS

Dr. Pike received her dental degree from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines in 1987. After arriving in the U.S. in 1991, she attended the University of Detroit Mercy and received her second dental degree in 1995. She then worked as an Associate Dentist for three years in Three Rivers, MI before becoming the owner of her own practice in 1999.

Dr. Pike is married and has two beautiful daughters.  She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Dr. Pike is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Kalamazoo Dental Society, the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Study Club, and the Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge.

Shela

Office Manager

Shela is one of the first friendly faces you will be meet when arriving at Dr. Pike's office. Shela started in January 2011 with Dr. Pike and brought many years of experience with her ranging from dental assisting to administrative and most recently is our office manager.  Shela loves getting to know our patients and helping them with scheduling, insurance or billing.  When not in the office Shela enjoys boating, and golfing with her husband.  They have three wonderful grown children.

Tina

Certified Dental Assistant

Tina joined our office in March 2017- she came to us from the eastside, Port Huron, MI. She has been a Dental Assistant for 32 years, all at one office. Tina enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She moved to the Portage area to be closer to her kids and grandchildren. Tina is married and enjoys gardening, golfing, crafts, and spending precious time with her family.

Alondra

Registered Dental Hygienist

Alondra is a Kalamazoo Valley Community College graduate. She began her dental journey at Dr. Pike’s office in 2021, where she continues to grow as a hygienist to provide the best possible personalized skills and dental hygiene care. Every patient is as unique as their teeth and Alondra makes sure to determine the best course of action for each individual in order to meet their specific needs and goals. She loves getting to know her patients and forming meaningful connections so you’ll feel at home in the dental chair. Alondra loves to go to the beach and spend time with her wife, as well as have cookouts with her family. She is adventurous and loves roller coasters, zip-lining, and exploring new places! 

Stephanie

Account Manager

I have been in the dental world since 2013. Earlier in my career I was a dental hygienist with Dr. Pike until 2020 and had to take a small break. I'm back now as the accounts manager and excited to be back! When I'm not in the office, I enjoy listening to music, being in my garden, and spending time with my family.

Lisa

Dental Assistant

I've been in the dental field for over 20 years and still enjoy what I do. I love meeting new people and getting to know them and taking care of their dental needs. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Pike and her team.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and making creations in the kitchen. I also enjoy camping in the summer and working out to stay healthy.

Alison

Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. My interests of becoming a dental hygienist stemmed from enjoying going to the dentist as a child. Through my career, I strive to help patients understand the importance of oral hygiene, while creating a comfortable environment for them. On my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and going out with friends. I love spending time at home with my family, listening to music, attending events: concerts and sporting events.
I also love my alone time.
